Western Living Magazine has just announced the finalists for the 2016 Designers of the Year competition……and…….we are ecstatic to be included on the esteemed shortlist for the ‘Architecture’ category, as well as the ‘Arthur Erickson Memorial Award for an Emerging Architect’! Wow.
The spirit of the ‘Arthur Erickson Memorial Award for an Emerging Architect’ is, as put by Western Living, to “acknowledge designers who appear poised for widespread acclaim, but who are still early in their career‘. The Architecture category should be self-explanatory.
Winners will be celebrated in the September issue, and announced later this summer. Congrats to all of the other finalists. There is something special going on in Western Canada. See the full list on Western Living’s website.
You may recall that we were recipients of the ‘One-To-Watch for Eco-Design‘ in 2013, and we hope that we are living up to that title with our sustainable projects like the Khotso Passive House which is currently under construction.
